Eero Aarnio

A little about a wonderful Finish Industrial Designer,creator of the
very famous Ball chair in 1966.
Eero Aarnio one of the most most interesting designers that has a very unique vision to make something as simple as a chair to something worth collecting.
Aarnio was - and still is - one of the pioneers in using plastic in industrial design. Plastic material set the designers free to create every shape and use every color they wanted. This gave birth to objects oscillating.
Here some of his most outstanding work. My most favorite is not only the ball chair i like the pony, which ive seen quite a lot of times, i gotta confess i want one!! and the tipi and the plasti chair, i think his work is great, different. he currently has an exposition in Berlin and i was able to see his work and sit on the chairs in the exhibition called 100 anos 100 sillas which was held at the Franz Mayer Museum. i add some pics from hsi website, i hope u enjoy it
